
BIOGRAPHY
Erica Feininger M.Sc
Born in Quito, Ecuador in 1971, Erica Feininger immigrated to Canada in 1978 where her family settled in Quebec city and then later in Ottawa. Erica received a BA from Ottawa University with concentration of her studies in painting, photography and Psychology. She received a Masters of science in clinical art therapy in 2006, working as an art therapist and social worker for 16 years. Since 2012, Erica has been documenting street art and graffiti. She derives some of her inspiration from the vibrant street art pieces and graffiti that are created in Montreal, Quebec, a city she lived in for 10 years. In 2014, she started graffitiarchives.org, an online database for storing images of graffiti and street art. Erica began her studies in multimedia with France Guérin in 2015. She now works full-time as an artist in her studio, surrounded by nature and her 2 Ragdoll cats!
